Job Description: The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall operations of all food and beverage outlets on the cruise ship.
Direct reports: Executive Chef, Maitre D' Hotel, Bar Manager
Experience and Skills Required: Some cruise lines expects their Food and Beverage Managers to have at least five years of food and beverage experience in a management capacity with a cruise line, resort, or hotel.
Typical Rank: 3 to 3 1/2 stripes
Average Salary: $5,000 to $8,000 per month.
